The three partners behind G4

Xander is Partner and Managing Consultant at XDR Partners, a specialist consulting group with hubs in Switzerland, the UK and the USA, originally founded as Favere International. Since 2003 he has led the firm's executive search, specialist recruitment, management consulting, mergers and acquisitions advisory, and corporate and commercial advisory services for a global client base.

Earlier in his career he completed a specialist contract with one of the "Big Four" global consultancies as a Fractional Acquisitions Consultant, supporting large-scale, sensitive M&A projects across the USA and Switzerland. He began his career as a Business Development Finance Executive at Halliwell Jones in Chester, UK.

Alongside his consulting work, Xander is Chief Executive Officer of the UK Gastro Trust, a charitable organisation he founded to raise awareness and support for individuals affected by gastro-related illness.

• Vantara Capital — Executive Partner and founding partner of a boutique M&A firm providing advisory services, direct acquisitions, company investments and fractional C-suite support.
• OPC Capital Partners — Group Partner and Strategic Director, leading strategic joint venture partnerships with a focus on financial analysis, operating structure design, board-level strategy and revenue growth.
• DX Strategic Partners Limited — Executive Partner, overseeing the introduction and completion of newly acquired companies.

Annie focuses on turning strategic direction into something an organization can actually run. Her work sits where most strategy stalls: the translation from decision to operating plan, owners and sequencing.

She spends more time with clients' teams than with their data rooms, on the conviction that a plan nobody believes in is worse than no plan at all.

David leads G4's diagnostic work — the early, unglamorous stage where an honest read of the business determines whether everything that follows is worth doing.

He is known among clients for telling them what they'd rather not hear at the point it's still cheap to act on, and for staying close through the first hard quarter of execution.
